Samedan Airport, also known as Engadin Airport, is located in the Engadin Valley, in south-east Switzerland. It is well known for the fact of being Europe's highest jetliner airport, at an altitude of 1707m (5600ft) ASL. It is usually used by small-to-medium sized business jets, almost all of which come in the winter season. Some very rare charter flights might also operate from this airport.
